Answer it in your head first.
Someone tells you: do dhikr and the anxiety will go, and if it has not gone then you are not doing enough dhikr. What is wrong with that as advice?
It cannot be tested. If you are better it worked, and if you are not it is your fault, so it can never be wrong. The effect of that is to turn a symptom into evidence of a religious failing, and to delay care. The correction is not to think less of dhikr. It is to stop using it as a test you can fail.
