Chosen by importance, not by mood

Mood is a bad selector in depression because it says no to everything. Ask it and you will get the same answer every time.

So take the choice away from it. Pick the thing the night before, when you are not standing in front of it, and pick it by one question. If a version of me who was well looked at this, would they say it mattered?

Small and boring beats large and meaningful. Putting a wash on. Making one phone call. Going outside for ten minutes. Praying one prayer on time.
