Notice what the instruction is not

This is the part that should stop you.

For the single most destabilising thought a person can have, the response given was one sentence long. Affirm your faith. That is it. There is no instruction to answer the question, no instruction to research it, no instruction to settle it before you can carry on with your day.

That matters because of what kind of thought it is. It is a thought that cannot be settled by an argument, and what was given for it was a response rather than a proof.

We are reporting what the instruction was. We are deliberately not turning it into an exercise for you, with a repetition or a week of practice attached, and lesson six explains exactly why that line matters and who is allowed to cross it.
