Lesson 1 of 6
You are far less alone in this than it feels
You finish wudu and stand there wondering whether it counted. You say the intention again, because the first time did not feel right, and then again. Something arrives in your head during prayer that is so ugly you could not repeat it to anybody.
If any of that is familiar, you have met something the tradition named a very long time ago and gave a word to. Waswasa. The word means a whisper.
Three things before anything else. It is common. It is old. And it tends to visit the people who care most about getting things right.
