The sentence you have probably been told

Just make dua and Allah will make it easy.

It gets said kindly, and it gets said by people who mean it. Said to somebody who has not opened the book since March, it functions as permission to keep not opening it, and it usually comes with a second sentence about how the result is written anyway.

Both halves are worth taking seriously, because the tradition itself answers them, and it answers them more directly than most people realise.
