Confusion that comes and goes, or disorientation about the time, the day or the place. A sudden change in somebody who was well yesterday.
Fits, collapse, or loss of consciousness, and a first seizure at any age.
Any new symptom after a head injury, after a fever, after starting a new medicine, or in pregnancy or in the weeks after birth.
If any of those are present, this course stops being the right thing to be reading and the right thing is a hospital today.
