A check

Someone tells you that if your prayer were right you would not feel lonely. On this lesson, what is wrong with that?

Nothing, it is a fair reminderIt makes a claim about your standing with Allah out of a symptom, and it cannot be testedIt is true but unkindIt is only wrong if you are already praying
Not quite

It reads someone's inner state off their distress, which is a claim nobody is in a position to make. It also cannot be checked. If you feel better it worked, and if you do not, the fault is yours, so it can never be wrong. The effect is to turn an ordinary human need into a religious accusation and to keep the person quiet about it for another year.
