Lesson 2 of 6
It runs both ways
Everybody knows that money trouble makes people anxious and low. Far fewer people know the other direction, and the other direction is the one that traps you.
Money problems make people ill. Being ill makes money problems harder to fix, because illness costs you attention, decision making, energy and often income. Then the worse money situation makes the illness worse.
That is a loop and not a straight line, which changes what it means about you. Being stuck in it is not evidence of a character flaw. It is what the loop does to anybody who ends up inside it.
If you have been telling yourself that a more capable person would have sorted this out by now, hold that up against the shape of the loop. The loop degrades exactly the capacities you would need to get out of it.
