Somebody quotes the hadith about the birds at you to explain why you should stop worrying and simply trust. What is the part of the hadith they have left out, and what does it change?
They have left out that the birds go out. The hadith says they leave in the morning with empty stomachs and come back full, and the going out is inside the description of reliance rather than beside it. It changes the whole reading. The hadith is not describing provision arriving at a stationary bird. It is the standard classical proof that tawakkul includes taking the means, which is the same point as tying the camel, and the same order as consulting, then deciding, then relying.
