What it looks like on an actual Tuesday

Concrete, because this is the sort of advice that stays abstract and then never happens.

Pick one behaviour. One. The one that causes the most shouting in your house. Shoes in the morning, or hands off a sibling, or coming to the table.

Then, for two weeks, whenever any version of it happens, even a poor version, say what you saw within a few seconds. You came the first time I called. That is the whole intervention. Six words, no ceremony, and no reward chart unless you want one.

Two things people get wrong. They wait for the full behaviour, which never arrives, instead of catching the half version. And they say it much too late, at bedtime, when it has stopped being connected to anything.
