One. Sleep, and two. Load
Sleep is the single most reliable one and the least interesting. A tired adult has a shorter distance between mild irritation and a raised voice, and that distance shortens further across consecutive nights. If you want to know when you will shout, look at last night rather than at today.
Load is the other one, and it is not the number of tasks. It is the number of things that are yours to remember. The appointments, the forms, the shoes that have gone small, the medicine at four. That kind of load runs in the background all day, and it is what makes an ordinary demand at half past seven feel like one more thing being taken.
Neither of these gets fixed by insight. They get fixed by changing an ordinary circumstance, and that is what the plan at the end of this lesson is.
