Everything you say about how much you hate this job is probably true, and saying it again makes the job heavier. Notice the second or third round and stop there.
Complaining once is fine and often useful. The loop is what costs you, since each pass makes the task feel worse and spends the energy you were going to start with. Catch yourself mid sentence and say the plain version instead: that is boring, and I am doing twelve minutes of it. Then go. You will not hate it any less tonight.
Qur’an and Sunnah
Quickly, turn to God (Quran 51:50). The instruction is to move, which is also the quickest way out of a loop you have been going round in.
فَفِرُّوٓاْ إِلَى ٱللَّهِۖ إِنِّي لَكُم مِّنۡهُ نَذِيرࣱ مُّبِينࣱ
[So, say to them, Prophet], ‘Quickly, turn to God- I am sent by Him to give you clear warning

What the research says
The large meta-analysis of procrastination found that how unpleasant a task feels is among the strongest predictors of putting it off. Rehearsing your dislike works directly on that feeling, which makes it a reasonable thing to leave alone. The analysis measured predictors rather than testing what happens when you stop complaining.

Why it works
The more attention you give to how unpleasant something is, the more unpleasant it becomes.
This one is still a draft. It is waiting on a scholar and a clinician to read it before it is published.
Near this one
If not knowing makes you itch, the work is learning to sit with the itch rather than making it go away. The plan can stay unfinished while you get on with today.
When you finish the dull task, give yourself something you actually like. A reward you do not really want does no work at all.
Shrink the first step until it takes two minutes, and do only that.
