Areas › Your body › Touch and bodywork
You rarely need the whole tour. Pick the one place the tension actually lives for this person today, and work there.
A real session has no room for a long sequence and no need of one. Watch where the holding shows itself: a jaw that never rests, shoulders up near the ears, a throat that tightens when a particular name comes up. Working that one place makes contact. Running a full body script from the top invites polite compliance and little else.
Qur’an and Sunnah
'Take my shirt and lay it over my father's face' (Quran 12:93). One cloth, one face, a particular act aimed at a particular person rather than a general prescription.
Take my shirt and lay it over my father’s face: he will recover his sight. Then bring your whole family back to me.’

What the research says
The network meta analysis comparing massage, yoga, progressive muscle relaxation and stretching for occupational stress found each helped and none stood out as best. If the method matters less than doing something at all, the sensible move is to pick whatever fits the person in front of you. That study compared whole programmes rather than which region of the body to work on.

Strength of evidence: one line of research. A single study, or a theoretical account.
Why it works
Meeting the place that is actually holding is what produces a felt shift, and covering everything dilutes it.
This one is still a draft. It is waiting on a scholar and a clinician to read it before it is published.
Near this one
Instead of a diet, take one craving and stay with it: the food, the moment, the pull. Tap or breathe through it until the pull itself loosens.
Do not put a clock on any of this. Stay with each position until your body asks for a deeper breath or produces a yawn, then move on.
Find the soft place just under and behind your jaw, near your ears, and rest your fingers there. Then open and close your mouth slowly, slide the jaw forwards and back, and draw your chin gently towards your throat.
