What that costs, honestly

It does not feel powerful. It feels like being rude, for about six weeks.

It usually gets worse before it gets quieter, because a demand that has always worked will be made louder before it is made differently. Other people will be brought in. Nothing here promises otherwise.

And there is no version of this that your parent thanks you for. If you are waiting for the moment they see it and say so, that is the loop again, wearing a new coat.

What it buys is narrower. Fewer hours in the room. Fewer subjects on the table. And a version of you that turns up at the eid meal, because it costs less than it used to.
