Some of this needs somebody today

This is here in lesson one, not at the end, because a family in a bad enough week may never reach lesson six.

Hearing or seeing what others do not, especially if it is new, and especially in more than one sense at once. Several nights without sleep with energy that feels raised. Not eating or drinking. Confusion that comes and goes, or disorientation about the day or the place. Fits, collapse, or losing consciousness. A sudden change in a person who was well yesterday. Any new symptom after a head injury, a fever, a new medicine, or in pregnancy or after birth.

Any thought of ending a life, or of harming somebody else, is an emergency and it goes to emergency services now.

None of that is a claim about the cause. It is a claim about the clock.
