The line this course does not cross, stated exactly
This is worth being precise about rather than gesturing at, because the vagueness is what lets platforms drift.
What a course like this can properly do: describe how money worry works, describe what debt does to mental health in general, explain the mechanisms, teach worry containment, tell you that uncertainty is the fuel, set out the tradition's general categories with the scholar flags attached, and point you at where the qualified help is.
What it must not do, and will not: say anything about what you specifically should do with your specific debt. Compare products. Suggest consolidating, or prioritising one creditor over another, or stopping payment to anyone, or taking anything out, or using or avoiding any particular formal remedy. Run any calculator that produces a recommendation. Collect your actual figures.
The reason is not squeamishness. Advising a particular person about a particular debt or credit product is a regulated activity in the UK and in most comparable jurisdictions, and doing it without authorisation is not a technicality. This platform is not authorised and is not going to behave as if it were.
That boundary is in your favour. Regulated advisers are accountable in a way that a webpage is not, and the ones you want are free.
