What a safety plan is, in general terms

A plan is a set of answers, worked out beforehand, to a small number of practical questions.

Where you would go, tonight, at eleven, with the children. Who you would tell, and how you would reach them if your phone was gone. Which documents matter, which are yours, and where they are. Medicines. How you would get money you can actually reach. How you would get out of the building. What you would say to the children, in advance, in words they can hold.

That is the category. This course does not write yours and gives you no template, and that is on purpose, which the next step explains.
