Reframe one difference with your spouse as a dream to understand, not a flaw to fix.
Behind their stubborn stance is usually something they value. Ask what it protects.
Qur’an and Sunnah
We made you different peoples that you may know one another (Qur'an 49:13). Difference is an invitation to understand, not to correct.
People, We created you all from a single man and a single woman, and made you into races and tribes so that you should recognize one another. In God’s eyes, the most honoured of you are the ones most mindful of Him: God is all knowing, all aware

What the research says
The thing you keep trying to fix in your partner is often a value in disguise. Asking what it protects turns a flaw into something you can honour.
