What the waiting loop looks like from inside

It never announces itself. It goes like this.

Something is wrong, and it is put down to affliction. Only spiritual help is sought, which is a reasonable thing to do. Nothing much changes. Somebody says the sihr must be strong, and that a more powerful practitioner is needed. So there is a new practitioner, and a new appointment, and a new fee, and a new wait.

Stop on that middle sentence, because it is doing all the work. The idea that ruqyah not working proves the sihr is stronger has nothing behind it in the sound sunnah. Not a verse, not a report. It is the sentence that turns a decision into a chain, and the chain has no end written into it.

A family can be inside that loop for three years, doing everything right by their own lights, and nobody in it is being foolish.
