If the birth itself keeps coming back
For some women the heaviest thing is not the mood. It is the birth. It arrives without being invited, in pictures. Sounds, or a smell, or a phrase somebody said. Nightmares. Avoiding the hospital, the road to it, the ward, the conversation.
That is a recognised pattern after a frightening birth and it has its own treatments, which work.
This course is not going to take you through it. We are not going to ask you to describe what happened, to write it out, to go back over the worst moment, or to picture it again. Done alone that commonly makes things worse, and it is not what this platform does.
Say to your doctor that you are getting intrusive memories of the birth, and ask specifically about trauma focused treatment. Naming it that way tends to get you to the right person faster.
